Anchored by our "3 Races in 3 Days Challenge," the Lake Lure Olympiad is a summer sports festival for all ages and abilities. Since 2005, the Lake Lure Olympiad has raised over $240,000 for area charities by bringing people together in the spirit of friendly competition to promote health and wellness awareness and community well being.  

Hosted by Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure and Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park, we warn you that the it's not only the athletes, but the picturesque mountains and pristine lake views that will compete for your attention in breathtaking Lake Lure, North Carolina.

Our 2012 "3 Races in 3 Days" Challengers!

We know that you will find a race that motivates you to compete from our Lake Lure Triathlon, 10K Dam Run or Race to the Rock, to our Junior Olympiad or Pickleball Tournament.  And there is always room for spectators, especially as you watch the celebratory Lighting of the Torch or stunts by the Lake Lure Ski Club at our Opening Ceremonies.
